Sollich Logo

Sollich KG of Germany is a leading global supplier of enrobers, tempering systems, cooling tunnels and bar forming equipment with a complete line of optional auxiliary equipment.

Sollich’s Conbar® is the de facto standard for candy, cereal and nutrition bar forming in single or multi-layer configurations.  The Miniconbar® 300/400 is a new bar forming line producing up to 150 bars per minute with an impressive price/performance ratio.  The Sollich Miniconbar® is noted for its simple operation, multiple applications and is suitable for a wide variety of product ingredients.  The Miniconbar® drum forming system guarantees a pressure-less, precise formation of the slab and provides simple changeover for alternate product runs.  As a slab is formed (up to 12” wide) the material is cooled at the same time which can shorten the cooling tunnel phase of production- just another advantage of this “mini” machine.

Several improvements have been made to previous generations of  TTS enrobers paving the way to Sollich’s newly developed Minicoater MC 420- a small-scale chocolate enrober with built-in tempering machine.  The new MC has a separate frequency controlled drive for the bottoming roller as well as removable tensioned wire detailer system (patented) eliminating the clips normally required to hold the detailer rod in place.

Sollich’s on-site display will include the WEB 300 slab former, WE/WET 300 slab former, SAW 300 compression roller, SSC 300/400 S slitting, spreading and cutting system, KK 420 cooling tunnel, Minicoater MC 420 enrober, Minitemper MT 100 tempering machine, and a Decormatic MD 420 decorating system.

Chocotech Logo

Chocotech GmbH, the sister company of Sollich KG, offers state of the art solutions for confectionery kitchens producing caramel, fondant, aerated products, jelly, hard candy, fruit snacks, binders, brittle and Halwa.  In response to today’s worldwide demand for energy saving solutions, Chocotech has brought to market a new patent-pending technology.  This innovative solution, the ECOGRAV® (first introduced at Interpack 2011) has shown up to 50% in energy savings for confectionery manufacturers producing hard candy, chewy candy, aerated candy and fondants.

Chocotech will exhibit the Princess ECOGRAV® designed for pilot plant use.  It consists of a gravimetric weighing unit for sugar and corn syrup with an integrated dissolver.  The dissolver takes into account the water content of the corn syrup enabling a stable and clear solution.  Up to 90% of dry solids can be metered to the cooker without adding water to the premix.  This results in an impressive increase in dry solids when compared to conventional industry practices (metering 75% dry solids to the cooker).  With the ECOGRAV®’s higher solid content, fewer vapors are formed causing less condensate and directly improving energy requirements.

Dumoulin Logo

Dumoulin manufactures a complete range of automatic high capacity panning systems in batch sizes up to 6,600 lbs.  One important advantage of a Dumoulin machine is their innovative design resulting in the smallest bed depth of any similar unit.  This in turn means that all Dumoulin drums are gentle on delicate centers.  Shallow bed depth also increases the amount of surface area in contact with freshly conditioned air.  This reduces processing time that allows the coating to be distributed very quickly and evenly over all centers.  Although not exhibiting equipment Dumoulin will be represented and literature will be available.

Booth # S-7701 will be staffed by Bob Limburg, John Holland and Danila Daniloff of Sollich North America, Peter Koch and Manfred Katthoefer from Sollich KG, Martin McDermott and Erhard Hilker from Chocotech GmbH, and Tony Puchtinger and Alex Heidemann from Sollich KG’s service department.
