Sollich Logo

Sollich KG of Germany is a leading global supplier of enrobers, tempering systems, cooling tunnels, and bar forming equipment with a complete line of optional supplementary equipment.

Sollich will have on display their Enromat® M6 1050 CIP enrober as well as a new Thermo-Flow 1050 KK cooling tunnel re-designed with Gullwing PU-Covers.

From top to bottom Sollich’s Enromat® M6 1050 CIP enrober boasts innovative design and incorporating the latest components available in building this state-of-the art machine. One example is the patented wire tensioned detailer system, which has eliminated the clips normally required to hold the detailer rod in place. Another example is the Enromat® M6’s automatic washing system for changeover cleaning - a major consideration in today’s production lines. The newly designed coating weight control stations such as the blower and shaking unit guarantee unprecedented control over the final weight of the product across the entire belt width and results in a more hygienic design. Sollich will exhibit the brand new execution of the M6 CIP enrober with all mechanical adjustments of the enrober now servo controlled, providing accurate traceability of any parameter changes and easy recipe control.

An exciting highlight will be Sollich’s brand new Thermo-Flow 1050 KK cooling tunnel with PU-Covers in Gullwing design. The tunnel frame and base are made of stainless steel (and other non-rusting materials) with the Gullwing covers manufactured from light-weight, durable composite material. The tunnel is designed to reduce potential bacterial growth and can be easily wiped down. The Thermo-Flow also features fewer critical control points by reducing the amount of components in direct and indirect contact with the product while at the same time having easy access to all critical points along the product path.

Chocotech Logo

Chocotech GmbH, the sister company of Sollich KG, offers state of the art solutions for confectionery kitchens producing caramel, fondant, aerated products, jelly, hard candy, chewy candy, fruit snacks, binders, brittle, Halwa and more. In response to today's worldwide demand for energy saving solutions, Chocotech has brought to the market a new patented technology. This innovative solution, the ECOGRAV® (first introduced at Interpack 2011) has shown up to 50% in energy savings for confectionery manufacturers producing hard candy, chewy candy, aerated candy and fondants.

Chocotech will exhibit the Princess ECOGRAV® designed for pilot plant use. It consists of a gravimetric weighing unit for sugar and corn syrup with an integrated dissolver. The dissolver takes into account the water content of the corn syrup enabling a stable and clear solution. Up to 90% dry solids can be metered to the cooker without adding water to the premix. This results in an impressive increase in dry solids when compared to conventional industry practices (metering 75% dry solids to the cooker). With the ECOGRAV®'s higher solid content, fewer vapors are formed causing less condensate and directly improving energy requirements.

In addition, Chocotech will have on display the SUCROTWIST® cooker as well as the Gravimetric JELLYMIX CFA system and the PHARMA MIX. The Sucrotwist® is a universal hygienic static cooker of compact design with excellent heat exchange properties. The unit can handle a wide number of masses on long continuous production runs. The product stream through the cooker follows a spiral against the resistance of the vertical steam heated piping. This results into a high turbulent flow with an excellent heat transfer with no dead areas for build-up. Masses gets cooked under consistent pressure regardless of altitude or the time of year. The cooker is fully CIPable. JELLYMIX is a very accurate gravimetric metering system for color, flavor and acid. The Jellymix is low maintenance and can be easily integrated with moguls.

Dumoulin Logo

Dumoulin manufactures a complete range of automatic high capacity panning systems in batch sizes up to 6,600 lbs. One important advantage of a Dumoulin machine is their innovative design resulting in the smallest bed depth of any similar unit. This in turn means that all Dumoulin drums are gentle on delicate centers. Shallow bed depth also increases the amount of surface area in contact with freshly conditioned air. This reduces the processing time that allows the coating to be distributed very quickly and evenly over all centers.

Although not exhibiting equipment Dumoulin will be represented and literature will be available.

Booth # S-8006 will be staffed by Bob Limburg, John Holland, Danila Daniloff and Sean Burns of Sollich North America, Peter Koch and Klaus-Dietrich Franzmeier of Sollich KG, Martin McDermott and Andreas Janko of Chocotech GmbH, and Tony Puchtinger representing Sollich KG’s service department.
