Chewmaster®
The Chewmaster® is a system for the continuous crystallization of sugar or sugar-free chewy candies with a fine and uniform distribution of the crystals in the final product. Depending on the recipe and texture which is required for the final product different components of the chewmaster are used. The can be a combination of cooling screw, crystallization screw, Tornado (continuous aerator) and relaxing belts.
The advantage of this system is that it produces a high degree of pre-crystallization which redundantises the use of an extruder upstream to the forming line
